The Unique Doors of Italy

On my last visit to Italy, I became obsessed with Italian doors. Each one seemed to be completely different, unique, hand-crafted, bold–a work of art. I tried to capture the variety of doors throughout my travels to Tuscany and Umbria. Here is a sampling of them.

I would never have thought that old doors could be so beautifull and unique. I have gained a new appreciation for them, and doors are now on my radar.
